BEFORE YOU ACQUIRE A DOG – VIRTUAL SESSIONS

Before You Acquire A Dog (BYAAD)

The ‘Evolution’ of Dog Behaviour and Training Services

For future, new, as well as experienced dog owners.

If you are thinking, planning or have already decided to acquire a puppy, adult or rescue dog then, this is the service that you were always looking for!

You can start practicing /developing your handling skills, learn about the behavioural needs of the new comer and how you can better adapt her/him into your home environment, even if… you have not acquired them yet!

Book a course now! Your dog will be delighted you have attended these sessions!

Every dog owner needs guidance on what should be done in order to facilitate an easy life with their dogs. Therefore, among other things a dog owner will need to develop their handling and training skills, become aware of the dog’s behavioural needs, learn how to prioritise the delivery of the training tasks, and understand the catalytic role of their home environment`s unique characteristics.

This guidance should ideally be provided some time before acquiring your new dog. The reason behind this golden rule is that as soon as you acquire a dog the clock is ticking and it is very difficult on the one hand to digest new information from experts and on the other hand to apply it successfully. Moreover, the dog is growing fast and your professional, family, friends and other personal commitments inevitably restrict the time available to practice or think deeply about several dog behavioural aspects and issues. Nevertheless, the clock is ticking…

The service I provide is based on the principle that prevention is much better than cure, and aims to better prepare the dog owner for this demanding role.

THE COURSE INCLUDES FOUR 50 MINUTE TAILOR MADE VIRTUAL SESSIONS, AND ACCORDING TO YOUR NEEDS, WE WILL FOCUS ON:

Developing your handling skills.

Understanding the dog’s behavioural needs

Planning the delivery of the training tasks required

Understanding the catalytic role of your home environment unique characteristics.

In case you need more support in the above areas we will schedule additional sessions before or after you acquire your dog.

Τhe cost for the first four sessions is £350 and any additional session will be priced at £80 - £100.
